Los Picos de Europa CENTRAL MASSIF OR "URRIELES"
|
The strand towards the east goes from the "Valdecoro" peak to "Peña Vieja", whose summit is the highest in Cantabria, arriving to "Collada de Camburero" and "Collado Pandébano" through "Collada Bonita", joining with "Peña Maín". From the peak "Santa Ana" there is a pass to "Torre de Horcados Rojos" and "Horcados Rojos" to reach the peak "Tesorero", which is the common vertex of the three provinces (Cantabria, León and Asturias). From here, and along another mountain range we pass the peak "Pico de Las Arenizas", up to the "Naranjo de Bulnes" or "Urriello", and along the other strand, from "Tiro del Oso" to "Torre Coello", "Torre Bermeja", "Torre Cerredo" (the highest peak in the Park) and "Pico de Los Cabrones", until we get to "Cuetos del Trave". Finally, to the north of "Peña Vieja", a range starts, reaching "La Gármola" and "Cuetos de San Juan de la Cuadra", ending at "El Escamellao".
