At the picturesque village of Tresviso, you can find "La Taberna", a meeting point for visitors and mountaineers who come near one of the most characteristic villages of the National Park of Picos de Europa. This establishment has a bar; where all sorts of information about the itineraries around the Picos de Europa mountains can be obtained, and a restaurant with a capacity for 40 people. Also has a terrace to contemplate a magnificent view of the village and its valley. The restaurant specialities are: "cocido montañés" (local stew), kid meat, and "queso picón" (blue cheese). On desserts we can mention the "arroz con leche" (traditional milky rice pudding), home-made "flan" (creme caramel), and to finish a dinner, our highland tea with "orujo" (alcoholic drink) from Liébana. In La Taberna there are seven bedrooms with heating and hot water: three triple rooms with bathroom, one triple one sharing a bathroom, two double ones with bathroom, one matrimonial one with a bathroom also, and a matrimonial with a supplementary bed and bathroom. There are also 12 lodging places of bunks, with showers and hot water, wash basins, toilets, and heaters.
