The Inn of Cabañes is located in one of the most idyllic places of the Picos de Europa National Park, right on the same slopes of the Eastern massif, at an altitude of 550 metres, in the area of Penduso (Cabañes), offering a magnificent panoramic view of the valley of Liébana and the Cantabrian Mountain range, outstanding Peña Ventosa, one of the most emblematic environment of the old Cantabrians. The Inn is in a wonderful spot in order to be able to rest and to enjoy silence, with a still quite wild nature. The Camino Lebaniego runs through the village of Cabañes, which leads the pilgrims along ways and paths until the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana. In addition, a track communicates directly with the interior of the Picos de Europa National Park. We are 12 kilometres away from the town of Potes, shopping centre of the region of Liébana, with great atmosphere, and possibility of enjoying beautiful beaches, that are 40 minutes away.
	The Inn of Cabañes, inaugurated on 14th April 2000, combines the tipically traditional construction of stone and wood, with the modern comfort. It is very well isolated as much from the outside as the acoustics inside. It has heating and central hot water, with excellent pressure. The interior decoration is simple, with old furniture very selected and restored by ourself. All the house smells of scent of wood.
	The Inn of Cabañes is a small hotel that has 8 double rooms, with bathroom and TVset; one of them adapted for disabled people. Lounge-dining room with fireplace. Dining room with capacity for 25 people. Bar. Gardens with magnificent panoramic views. Private parking
Recently assigned to the Center of Ecotourism and Environmental Education The Hayal, the Inn of Cabañes works in conjunction with the shelter of huts where the services are performed for lunch and dinner, plus a bar and pool on its premises. Prices for Posada Cabañes remain fixed throughout the year, and are: Bed & Breakfast 28 € per person per day Half board 36 € per person per day Dinner € 46 per person per day Babies do not pay up to 3 years and children under 6 are charged 50%. There is the possibility of putting in the extra rooms for families of 3 members. We have an attic room with capacity for 4 people.
And we hold people or companies that want to organize courses that fit in this enclave. We arrange the tourism active activities with companies of the region. Credit cards are not admitted since the private telephone which we have works on waves.
